I have spent the last two years getting to know myself and I finally know who I am! I am still a Giver of Free Hugs. But I have grown. I've finally found the woman I was meant to be. No longer am I the spiteful, gossipy, uneducated little girl that I was. No longer am I putty in the hands of others. I am my own person, I am free. I took a spirit journey that led me on an amazing adventure and changed my life, my soul and my spirit forever. I found the beginning of my Native American ancestry, the beginning of my spiritual path and my Butterfly totem. I healed the abused little girl that I was, I soothed the angry teenager and haunted young woman inside of me. I work in a field that I love, where I belong and am needed and wanted. I'm helping people which is something I've dreamed of doing my entire life. I am strong, I am confident and I am wiser for the experience. I have surrounded myself with true and loving friends and family. My life is not always perfect but I find myself strong enough to roll with the punches and come out on top. I am not the woman everyone wanted me to be, I am the woman I wanted me to be. I have four of the most wonderful children in the world who are growing into amazing adults. For the first time in my life, I am whole.

I'm finding inspiration all around me, hope in humanity. I've always carried joy buried inside me, joy that I was afraid to show. But I'm finding that I'm not alone. There are others who hope and dream of a better future. A future without prejudice, anger or pain. A future without war, famine or abuse. A future of hope, unity, tranquility...peace.

Some of us are spreading love through the simple act of a hug:



And some of us...well some of us just dance....



...and the world dances with us.

Me? I'm working from the inside out. I'm starting small, it's only been a year and a few months, but it's growing every day.
